Dr. Mahtani Releases Press Statement, Exposes Unethical Social Media Post Against Him

Dr. Rajan Mahtani is one of the most popular businessman in Zambia. During his business experience which expands more than three decades, Dr. Mahtani has maintained positive and transparent business relationships with several personalities across Zambia as well as outside. Late ex-President of Zambia, Levy Mwanawasa was one of them with whom the friendship goes well beyond Levy Mwanawasa stepping to the Presidency. As such, the recent post shared by one of the members of the Mwanawasa was extremely malicious. Miriam Mwanawasa, the daughter of Levy Mwanawasa recently shares a Facebook post in which she claimed that Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani wanted to takeover the land at Masaiti which is the legal property of Levy Mwanawasa and family. Since this post was extremely sensational coming from the family of the President, it quickly gained traction.

Dr. Rajan Mahtani decided to take stringent action against this post by sharing a press release. In this press statement, Dr. Rajan Mahtani clarified that he had a long-standing and transparent business and personal relationship with Levy Mwanawasa which was known to everyone. At the same time, he also shared that he never made any such intentions or claims regarding taking over of the factory and as such, he was shocked to see the misdirected post across social media. He further added that the social media post came without any evidence, supporting documents or even follow-up confirmation from the ex-President’s daughter. As such, it can be easily seen here that the Facebook post was unauthentic, malicious, scrupulous and was shared with the sole objective of maligning the image of an honest businessman. Dr. Rajan Mahtani further added that he will be taking actions against this unethical act.
