The Steven Malama Award Instituted By Dr. Rajan Mahtani Wins Praise For Philanthropy
Not many are aware of the fact that Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani is the individual behind foundation of the Steven Malama award. The honour was built up in the year 2012 by Dr. Rajan Mahtani and Finance Bank Zambia wherein he holds the Chairman's position. Late Steven Malama was a dear friend of Dr. Rajan Mahtani and subsequently, Dr. Mahtani chose to respect the late legal visionary building up the honour.

The Steven Malama grant is given each year to the top graduating student from the Zambian Institute of Advanced Legal Education.
