Dr. Mahtani makes progress in the Portland Cement Zambia case after misdirected announcement
Achievement is never a cake walk.
There are numerous challenges and barriers that will come in the way
of progress. Regardless of whether a person as made progress there
will be individuals who will continually attempting to grab away this
achievement or gain benefit from other individuals' diligent work.
Being a standout amongst the best business people in Zambia, he is
consistently looked by criticism, backstabbers and people attempting
to grab away his well deserved organizations.
In the most recent unforeseen
development, the shareholding case between Dr. Mahtani and Portland
Cement Zambia was finished up by the Lusaka High Court. The case was
at first settled by Dr. Mahtani, Chairman of the Finsbury Investment
guaranteeing that he was the real proprietor of Zambezi Portland
Cement and has been improperly stigmatized for the situation. He
likewise settled that the factory was unlawfully taken despite the
fact that they are only the investors and Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the
Joint-Venture Partner. The judge of the high court closed the case
yet did not declare any day of final judgment. Moreover, the
respondents were given timeline for sharing the written and oral
evidences before the judge based on which, final judgement was to be
announced.
However, everyone was shocked when
the judge announced final verdict. Despite the numerous evidences
submitted by Dr. Mahtani and his lawyers, final verdict was given
against him. This was a clear case of misdirected judgment and it is
suspected that the judgment was influenced by external parties as the
evidences were completely ignored. Not accepting this judgment by the
Lusaka High Court judge, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has now appealed to the
higher court of Zambia.
